My Short Tourney Report

Played Jaderyl's BBS

Round 1 vs Ron Cruz using Ichorid WIN 2-0

Game 1: He mulled to 2 for an opening Bazaar but I'm going first with my opening hand of 2 Island, 1 Wasteland, 1 Timevault, 1 Voltaic Key, 1 Mana Drain and 1 Force of Will. So I played Island+Voltaic Key Done. He played Bazaar then Done. I drew a spellstutter sprite then played my 2nd Island then Done. He activates bazaar at end of turn then on his turn he dredged cards and during his draw step as well. He was able to play 1 narcomoeba and casts cabal therapy of which I countered with mana drain. During my main phase I had a floating 1 mana then added 1 more to cast Timevault then the combo assembles.

Game 2: All the love in the world was there for him. Painter+Grind Combo wins the game.


Round 2 vs Luis using Trygon Tezz WIN 2-1

I cant remember well all the details, all I can remember was the crucial game 3 where He only needed I more swing to win the game with me having no cards in hand just a grindstone in play and lots of mana. I top decked a painter then played it, luckily he doesn't have any counter or solution in his hand, I grind him for the lucky win! Sorry Luis hehe!


Round 3 vs Ryan using Trygon Tezz Loss 0-2

Game 1: An early Trygon proves to be lethal for me.

Game 2: LoA card advantage then Ancestral Recall then Dark Confidant for him can't catch up for the card advantage.


Round 4 vs Noel Yu using Selkie Strike WIN 2-0

Game 1: He mulled to 6 with only a single wasteland as his mana source, painter combo wins.

Game 2: An early Painter+Grind combo with Mana drain and 2 FOW and 2 Bluecards

Round 5 vs Von using Aggro Shops (ID)


Quarter Finals vs Ching using NLD/TPS WIN 2-0

Game 1: I outdrew him and my bribery gets his Magister Sphinx then aggroed him.

Game 2: I outdrew him again and my bribery gets his Magister Sphinx again and just to finish the game faster, Timevault Voltaic Key and Painter Grind is already in play so I activated them both and wins the game.

Semis vs Marco using Rod Stax WIN 2-0

Finals vs Ryan using Trygon Tezz WIN 2-1

Game 1: Painter Grind win.

Game 2: He win through card advantage and Tinker Sphinx.

Game 3: Early bombs for him to handle, I was able to steal his Confidant for more card advantage and Bribery for trygon. Win!
