As I was in a giving mood I decided to offer the Time Vault as top prize.

Prize structure went this way
1st - Time Vault
2nd - 2 x Scalding Tarn foil
3rd - Misty Rainforest (altered by poxy) + Misty Rainforest
4th - 2 x Flooded Strand
5th - 8th
Scalding Tarn + Pathrazer of Ulamog(DCI) + Choice of 1 from 2 x Necropotence and 2 x Channel + Choice of 1 from DSC, DSC, Platinum Angel, Inkwell Leviathan
9th - Pathrazer of Ulamog(DCI) + Syphon Mind
Basically I didn't even breakeven but it was my way of giving back to the community.

Personal note:
This may very well be my last attendance of any sort in a tournament. No more organizing tournies or joining tournies. Casual play may also be out of the question. But will continue to be active in the forums. I will be letting go of 90% of my cards just leaving my beloved Ichorid deck and altered cards, most everything will probably go. (Shameless plug: Anyone willing to buy everything will be given priority first.)

Lakas ni Marco! (Remember the Legend!)
Sabi ko na when I left, I had this funny feeling that Marco will be the champ. The guy is on a roll!

Congrats to the rest of the top 8 especially to teammates Shaun and Jospeh. Yun nga lang kinuyog ng Budget.

Pero again, 3 shops in the top 8? Kailangan may gawin na jan for the next tournament hehehe

Props to jester for organizing the tournament. Too bad you have really, really lie low now but I'm pretty sure everyone understands.
Props also to all of the people that played and supported. Kala ko makakasagabal yung ulan e pero buti na lang umabot pa rin ng 32.

I got surprise na naisama yung name ko sa Top 8 since pang Top 13 na ako after Round 5 with a 3-2 record. As usual I played Mono Red ulit hehe Pero medyo binago ko na yung built. I expect na Oath, Fish, MUD, Dark Times at Dredge ang laman ng Meta and that wala na combo kaya wala ako hate against combo sa deck ko. Buti nalang di ko nakatapat si Marcel (TPS) and Ching (ANT).

Round 1 vs Bernard (MUD) won 2-1 - Game 2 and 3 ako nakabawi thanks sa Null Rod.

Round 2 vs Luis (MUD) won 2-1 - Game 2 and 3 rin ako nakabawi naglabasan ang mga hate cards sa MUD.

Round 3 vs Lance (TEZ) lost 1-2 - Game 1 lang panalo ko na aggro ko si Lance and medyo nahirapan siya sa color ng mana niya dahil may moon effect sa field. Game 2 nagTinker Leviathan siya ok lang sana kasi may Basilik Collar na ako in play kaso ang tao ko lang is yung Cunning Sparkmage 0/1 bale wala ang Deathtouch lahat ng tao ko nakacounter na ni Lance. Game 3 umabot kami ng last 5 turns kaso nakapagTinker Leviathan ulit siya just enough sa last turn niya to finish me.

Round 4 vs Joseph (Dark Times) lost 1-2 - Game 1 nag 1 land play lang siya kasi nag first turn Dark Ritual Bob siya kaso na keso ko si Bob then naipit na siya sa mana. Game 2 na Painter Grindstone combo niya ako na hindi ko inexpect. Game 3 naglupa ako and go for aggro siya wala man lang lumabas na keso o si Cunning Sparkmage man lang.

Round 5 vs my Teammate JM (Dark Times) won 2-1 dapat pero ginawa nalang niya na 2-0 for me.

Round 6 vs Bio (another Dark Times hehe) won 2-0 - Game 1 Turn 3 lumabas si Marit Lage pero naDead/Gone ko ng EOT niya. Game 2 Turn 0 2 LOTV in play and turn 4 niya ata he cast Helm of Obedience kaso kulang ng 1 mana to activate. On my turn destroyed ang Helm dahil kay Manic Vandal. Aggro for the win na ako.

Nung nilabas na yung Final Results - abay akalain mo andun ako sa Top 8 nakasabit hehe Ang huling Top 8 ng Mono Red ko last April 2009 pa haha

Playoffs:

Me vs Shaun (FISH) won 2-1 - Game 1 medyo na Moon effect ko din siya at nagaggro mode ang FOD. Game 2 Tinker Leviathan for the win siya. Game 3 Moon Effect plus Null Rod na both nagresolve naman kaya ayun medyo nahirapan siya sa mana and sa mga draws niya via Skullclamp and wala masyadong tao sa side niya kaya ako nanalo.

Quarterfinals:

Me and our Leader Papa_Jack (MUD) lost 1-2 - Game 1 hates naglabasan. Game 2 after 2 lands sa opening seven ko wala ng iba pang lumabas 2 Tangle Wire plus Sculpting Steel na copy Tangle Wire umipit sa akin plus sphere effect. Game 3 Turn 1 Chalice for 1 siya turn 3 Chalice for 3. Nasira ko eventually ang Chalice for 3 with his Golem in play kaso nagtop deck siya ng SOFI GG

Finish at 4th Place and I won the Highest Non-Workshop, Non-Oath, and Non-Bazaar deck and took the donated prize of dragzz and jerski (Salamat po).

Congrats sa fellow Top 8 ko. Sa Team Budget 3 tayo sa Top 8 bihira lang to ulit mangyari. Thanks sa support Guys - Don, Ipe, JM, Randy, Mark, Marko, Eric and Paul. Kay Marco (tama yung sabi ng Shirt niya "Remember the Legend" Legendary ka talaga Marco). Thanks kay Elzar and Allan sa pagorganize ng event, well sana makalaro ka pa din nakakalungkot kasi malaman na may isang Eternal player ang maglie-low sa atin. Maki-greet na din ako ng Belated Happy Bday kay TPC - wala man sa tourney, yung deck naman niya nagchamp.

Thanks to my team mate Luis for lending me some key cards I needed to run my deck and to the rest for valuable exchange of ideas and information. Proud member here.

Sadly, made a number of very crucial misplays which led to my standing. Ended up with 3-3.

@Bebx: Akala ko wala nang bearing yung laban natin, meron pala! Hahaha.. And it's really yours pare, both my combos came out but you have answers to both, LOL.. Bawi ako next time, haha.. di ko na tatanggalin yung Chill ko sa SB, hehehe.. joke..

Thanks jester for organizing the event, it's been a while that we had a vintage tournament. Salamat. Though, I still have no idea as to the reason behind you lying low on our hobby. For sure, it's worth it. Good luck, and we'll still always expect you here.

Grats to the top 8! Couldn't make it today sadly, but at least the team was represented in the top 8.

Grats to everyone who made Top 8, specially to my teamate Justin for making and to Shaun and Joseph of TF, of course to the reigning champ Marco! and to Team Budget for their dominating finish! An epic thanks to Allan hosting this one and lending me that Firespout. ^_^

Went 3-3, after 6 rounds, got raped by Ponsi *literally* (enjoyed all 20 inches of that Marit Lage) >_< in the 2nd round, and comically made a fool of myself during the 4th round (Oathed without an Oath TWICE! DQ! although that last one was already an impending loss due to a crucial misplay so good game >_<) overall it was all well fought and I had a great time, its been so long since I've played and I've learned to appreciate and miss the tournament scene even more.
